Salespeople - B2B, Technical

SymbioSystems is seeking established sales professionals to help us grow our client base.  We're looking for individuals to service the San Francisco Peninsula, South Bay, East Bay, Sonoma/Marin, and Napa territories.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Interface with potential clients on a variety of levels and functions.
  • Identify potential clients business objectives and appropriately articulate the SymbioSystems value proposition.
  • Write contract and project proposals & respond to RFPs.
  • Prospect new clients via phone, marketing and networking events.
  • Act as liaison between potential clients and internal operations teams.

Proven and successful experience in:

  • Selling complex technical services or products to business and corporate clients.
  • Closing contracts from $50,000 to $250,000.
  • Owning the entire sales cycle - from prospecting to post-sale handoff.
  • Maintaining a consultative "soft-sales" solutions based approach.
  • Networking to include clients, investors, partner firms, and industry experts.
  • Delivering presentations to groups of C-level non-technical executives.
  • SugarCRM experience a plus.
  • Ability to explain complicated technical concepts in easy to understand spoken and written English.
  • Understanding of small and medium sized business technology needs.
  • Ability to promote products through networking and conference events.
  • Ideal candidates will have an existing pipeline of sales prospects in a complimentary technology field such as IT services or broadband.

SymbioSystems has an established product, existing clients, and a highly skilled operations and sales support team.  Initial compensation will be commission-only at a negotiable rate, salary and benefits are possible based on sales performance.  Training provided to the right applicants.
