The SymbioPod is a turnkey virtualization solution for companies of moderate size.  It is our answer to the extremely high cost and complexity of building a redundant virtualization environment.  We've done all of the up front research, design, and testing.

SymboPods form the hardware and software core of our Virtual IT business.  By levering our experience and knowledge of designing, building and running SymbioPods, you can avoid costly mistakes and dead-end designs.

SymbioPods are composed of the following major components:

1. Physical Hosts.  The actual servers that execute the virtual machines.
2. Storage.  SymbioSystems has designed a modular, redundant storage cluster at a fraction of the cost of traditional SAN storage solutions.
3. A redundant Ethernet fabric.  The glue that ties the storage and hosts together.
